Hello and welcome! I’m so excited to have you here with us in the Life Simply Documented community as we kick off another amazing year of creativity, memory-keeping, and connection.
This year, I’m adding something special—each piece of content I share will now have its own dedicated blog post. This means you’ll have an easy place to find all the details, tips, and inspiration you need to dive into your own projects.
You can keep up with everything across our platforms:

I can’t wait to see what we create together this year. Let’s make it the best one yet! 💛
January Photo Marker:
Every month, we’ll kick things off with a photo marker for your camera roll! This simple tool is a game-changer for keeping your photos organized.
I use it on my phone to separate my camera roll by month, making it so much easier to find the pictures I need when working on memory-keeping projects. It’s a small step that saves so much time and helps me stay on top of documenting throughout the year.
Grab your marker and start fresh—let’s make organizing our photos effortless and fun! 📸✨
January Daily Photo Inspiration:
You can use this as a guide to taking photos through out the month, or use it as a daily photo challenge.
January’s Layout Giveaway!
Each month I do a Layout Giveaway of a double-sided layout that I have created in the past. I pick one person to each month and send them a layout.
SIGN UP HERE – https://form.jotform.com/katinam…/simply-layered-page-form If you haven’t already signed up!
This is our Layout this month. I will add a winner in the comments around the middle of the month. I want to give everyone a chance to sign up if you haven’t.
Monthly Photo Challenge!
This year Elizabeth Younkin suggested that we do a monthly photo challenge and I think I LOVE this idea. I’ve already got the first 3 months planned out!
At the end of the month (maybe sometimes on the live) I will put together a memory-keeping page using the monthly photo idea.
This month we are going to kick-start the project with a Selfie and/or Your View!
Think about creative ways to snap a photo of yourself in your space, maybe use your timer, or set your camera in a fun spot.
Also, think about snapping a few photos of where you live, the street you live on, your home, looking in a window form outside, or outside looking in. A photo, or two that captures YOU and WHERE YOU ARE in life right now. Don’t over think it, don’t stress about it, just snap!
From Liz over on Facebook: “Yes yes yes for all the new friends we did this several years ago and it was so fun. At the end of the year we had a real cool bunch of pages.
Thank you Tina for adding this to your already busy schedule.”
Monthly Journaling Inspiration:
Journaling has always been the hardest part for me. I struggle with everything about it—the words, the structure, even just getting started. But this year, I’m determined to make it easier, not just for myself but for anyone else who feels the same way.
Each month, I’ll be sharing a little spark of inspiration—a simple jumping-off point to help you put pen to paper. Whether it’s a prompt, a question to ponder, or an idea to explore, my hope is that it gives you a nudge to capture your memories and tell your story, one word at a time. Let’s make this year the year we embrace the beauty of imperfect journaling together.
Project Life Inspiration:
Project Life is at the heart of everything that I do. It is my one main project that I always come back to.
I’m hoping this will add a little bit of inspiraton and help for anyone who is doing Project Life this year as well.
I put together a video overview of the Facebook Group, YouTube Challenge and the Website here.
