The start of the year always ends up being the most work. You are setting up a place to do your documenting, and you are getting to know your word. I have several things to share with you this month.
Let’s get started with a look back at all my past words and albums.
As you see none of my albums are perfect, and some are even unfinished. The point of the project is not perfect. I’m not striving for perfection.
This year, as we embark on this meaningful journey together, I’ve created a special resource to help you get started. I’ve put together a PDF with the first six months of prompts that I’ll be following throughout the year.

January’s Layout & Starting The Scrappy Spiral Notebook:
This year as I am diving into a brand new way of documenting this process it didn’t go as smoothly as I had hoped. There was a little bit more of a learning curve than I expected. It took me a few days to settle into this style and feel comfortable with it.
This year, as I begin my One Little Word journey, I’m feeling more excited than I have in years. There’s something about stepping into this project with fresh energy that feels so inspiring.
From using a brand-new product to document the process to reconnecting with a supportive community, everything about this start feels right. It’s more than just choosing a word—it’s about embracing the possibilities, the growth, and the stories waiting to unfold.
